Welcome to the opening scene of fractured Identities. In this abstract, we will Identify all the micro and macro elements being used, so let's hope into it.


For the opening scene, the mosiac shatters, establishing shot indicating the location which will be New York and will be day time. 

The audio will be of cars honking, tense music, and voice overs of three characters (Jasmine, Amir and Lupè).

The character will be shown as:

1: Jasmine (25 year old) as an African American art student.

2: Amir (28 year old) as a Pakistani American entrepreneur.

3: Lupè (22 year old as a latinx activist).

The camera pans over a vibrant street art mural depicting diverse faces and cultures. Suddenly, we will show a close up to show spray paints painting a slogan for covering it's visuals (that the people are protesting) and show reactions with eyeline match cut with another close up and fast cuts.

Now coming to the fast cut and extreme close up shot, we come towards the main characters covering there different reactions 

Jasmine: In anger and depression as being indicated as a black women and showing her tone to show here emotions.

Amir: Being worried about the community as a Muslim.

Lupè: sadness and trying to resolve the issue.

This scene sets a stage for a film exploring complex issues, sparking conversations and seeking understanding.
